Priscilla Castiglione
With over 20 years of industry experience under her belt, Priscilla is a veteran cosmetologist who can do just about anything with your hair to make you look beautiful. When you sit in her chair, you can trust that you are getting top-notch expertise and care.
“I have a passion for hair. I like to see my clients happy… and when I make their hair beautiful, I know they are”.
The passion that Priscilla speaks about began at the tender age of 10 when her mother, Yasmin, being a master Stylist herself, introduced Priscilla to the salon. She experimented with her dolls and siblings hair in the years that followed and honed her skills doing braids and beautiful plaits. Under the watchful eyes of her mom mentor, she fell in love with the profession and the rest is history.
Today, Priscilla is a licensed professional in the State of New York. She is also a graduate of the prestigious Brittany Beauty Academy, New York, where she received awards and recognition for her outstanding contributions during training. Her areas of specialization are weaves, perms and braids.
“In addition to my 3 specializations, I really like to restore and treat badly damaged hair and I also like to style difficult hair, including those with bald spots. In working with these unique clients, I get to experience the joy of restoring their confidence, so the transformation not only happens physically but emotionally as well. This makes my day. This is one of the reasons why my customers keep coming back. The other thing too is that I use credible products in my clients’ hair which make all the difference in the outcome.”
When asked about current developments, here is what Priscilla had to say:
“As you advance in your career, there comes a time when you want to give back. For me, the way I chose to give back is to create customized wigs for individuals who experience hair loss due to a medical condition. So, if you know anyone like this, please send them my way. I will design and create a wig that will transform their lives, at a fraction of the cost they would pay elsewhere…”
